11 Movies Like Mean Girls – Awesome Films & Series About Teen Life

Movies Like Mean Girls

If you're looking for a fun movie to watch with your friends, then these movies like Mean Girls might be just what you need. I've also included a few series you might enjoy too!

Many of these films are comedies and allow for plenty of laughs while still telling great stories about the struggles that teens go through in high school. You can't help but think about how much things have changed since 2004 when it comes to teen movies!

It's no secret that the movie Mean Girls has gone down in history as one of the best teen movies ever. It was released in 2004, close enough to our time for us to feel relatable but different enough where we can still enjoy it.

Mean Girls has many lessons about toxic friendships and cliques that many teens can connect with today, even though the movie is now 18 years old!

If you're looking for other movies like Mean Girls from 2004, Pitch Perfect is my top choice. It tells the story of an all-female a cappella group. The film stars the brilliant Rebel Wilson and includes Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins.

Kay Cannon wrote the story with music from Christophe Beck and Mark Kilian. The film is directed by Jason Moore, who has also directed episodes of Dawson's Creek and Pitch Perfect 2.

Pitch Perfect was nominated for many awards, including the MTV Movie Awards in 2013, and Best Breakthrough Performance (Fat Amy – Rebel Wilson). It also received nominations from Teen Choice Awards and People's Choice Awards.

Pitch Perfect is definitely one of my favourite movies like Mean Girls, and I hope you enjoy the rest of my recommendations too!
