We're hoping that April 2023 will be a great month. Spring is in the air, and the sun is shining a little more than it did last month!

But we all still have very busy lives, so if you need to have some downtime, check out one of 10 brand new Netflix Originals coming your way in April 2023. Enjoy!

1. BEEF – April 6th



If you're after a brand new comedy-drama series, then check out BEEF, starring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun which follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers.

Danny is a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder who goes head-to-head with Amy a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life.

The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.

2. Chupa – April 7th



While visiting his family in Mexico, teenage Alex gains an unlikely companion when he discovers a young chupacabra hiding in his grandpa’s shed.

In order to save the mythical creature, Alex and his cousins must embark on the adventure of a lifetime. A perfect film for all the family.

3. Oh Belinda – April 7th



Dilara, a young actress taking part in a TV commercial for a recently marketed shampoo, “Belinda”.

During one of the rehearsals, Dilara's life suddenly changes, realizing that all the elements of the script have become real.

Now she is Handan, despite her desperate efforts to prove otherwise, in this Turkish comedy drama.

4. Hunger – April 8th



From Thailand comes this seriously intense thriller as Aoy, who runs her family's local stir-fried noodles restaurant, receives an invitation to leave the family business and join team ‘Hunger', the number one luxury Chef's table team led by the famously ingenious, and infamously nasty, Chef Paul.

5. Florida Man – April 13th



This mini-series follows a struggling former police officer, Mike Valentine.

When a Philadelphia mobster's girlfriend disappears in Florida, Valentine is forced to return to his home state to find her.

However, what initially seemed like a simple job turns into a complex and harrowing journey that uncovers deep-rooted family secrets. Despite Valentine's determination to do the right thing, his efforts are thwarted by the corrupt and chaotic environment of Florida.

6. Seven Kings Must Die – April 14th



A movie to round out the hit series, The Last Kingdom, Seven Kings Must Die picks up in a country nearly united with only Lord Uhtred of Bebbanburg, yet to pledge his land to the throne.

But when King Edward dies the peace is threatened as his two potential heirs, Aethelstan and Aelfweard, battle to claim the crown.

8. A Tourists Guide To Love – April 21st


After an unexpected breakup, a travel executive (Rachael Leigh Cook) accepts an assignment to go undercover and learn about the tourist industry in Vietnam.

Along the way she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide (Scott Ly) when they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path.

9. Sweet Tooth Season 2 – April 27th



The mega hit, Sweet Tooth is back for season 2. Gus and his fellow hybrids are held captive by the Last Men in order to find a cure for the Sick.

To save his friends, Gus must find new strength as he uncovers the origins of The Great Crumble.

10. The Nurse – April 27th



This Danish thriller is based on a true story and follows a nurse at Nykøbing Falster Hospital who tells the police that she suspects her close colleague of deliberately killing patients and fears that it has just happened again.

Soon a murder case unfolds like never seen before in Danish legal history. Several co-workers are now telling the police that they also suspect the nurse has poisoned patients, and some even tell that they have been walking around with this suspicion for several years. But why hasn't anyone responded? And where is the evidence?
