If you're a fan of science fiction, then you're probably familiar with the Lost in Space TV show that originally aired from 1965 to 1968.
In 2018 Netflix released an updated version of this popular Sci-Fi show. The series starts with the Robinson family being unexpectedly pulled off course on their way to a new planet, the Robinson's must collaborate to survive in an isolated environment light-years from their intended destination. Stranded with the family are two strangers who are thrown together by fate and a shared talent for deception.
The new series pays homage to the 1960s version in clever ways. The elements which made the original show engaging are included in this update. You'll find Dr Smith, ‘Robot' and Will Robinson in this updated Netflix Sci-fi series.

Lost in Space season three, which will also be the show's last on Netflix, has now officially been completed. Netflix posted an image of what's to come on its NXOnNetflix Twitter account along with the announcement. A tender moment is shown between Will Robinson and the alien robot that becomes his friend and protector throughout the show.
So fans hoping for a ‘Lost In Space' Season 4 will be disappointed. However, I have a feeling this isn't the last we've seen of the show. Netflix has a habit of resurrecting popular franchises and I for one will be hoping to see the Robinson family in the near future.
LOST IN SPACE (1965-68)
Between 1965 and 1968, CBS aired Lost In Space. The Swiss Family Robinson was the inspiration for the series, as well as a comic book published by Gold Key Comics called Space Family Robinson. There were 83 episodes in total, with three seasons.
