Murder Mystery is a 2019 comedy mystery film directed by Kyle Newacheck and written by James Vanderbilt.
Loosely based on Agatha Christie's book Death on the Nile, the film stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and Luke Evans.
It was HUGE for Netflix which reported that 30.9 million households watched the film in the first 72 hours. By far, the biggest opening weekend for a film in the company's history.
With 73 million households watching it within its first four weeks of release, it is Adam Sandler's most successful film on the streaming platform.
So, of course, we were going to get a sequel! The question now is Murder Mystery 2 – when is it coming to Netflix???

The good news is that we don't have to wait much longer to see Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler back together on our screens.
Murder Mystery 2 is scheduled to be released by Netflix on March 31, 2023.
This is Adam Sandler's and Jennifer Aniston's third movie together. The first and second were Just Go with It and Murder Mystery.

What's The Plot of Murder Mystery 2?
In the same way that the first movie was based loosely on an Agatha Christie book, so too is Murder Mystery 2.
This time around, it is Murder on the Orient Express. Now full-time detectives Nick and Audrey are struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground.
But a big case is on the way when their friend Maharaja, is kidnapped at his own lavish wedding. Quite quickly, they find themselves at the center of international abduction but can they Maharja and save the day??
