No. The NYPD does not have the 99th precinct. The exterior shots in the series are actually of the 78th precinct in Brooklyn.

However, the limits of the imaginary jurisdictions of the 99th precinct are the same as those of the real-life 78th.

Some outdoor scenes were filmed on New York Street and the sets of Brownstone Street in the back of Universal Studios Hollywood.

Has Brooklyn Nine-Nine been cancelled?

After five seasons on Fox, Brooklyn Nine-Nine got cancelled in 2018.

However, it was revived by NBC to create another season, and its success led to three more.

The eighth season is the last of the series, reflecting real-life events happening across the country, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests.

While she often seemed rude, she was intelligent and efficient when needed, which made much of the show's cast, and the audience genuinely love the character.

In season six, the episode “Four Movements” acted as her farewell exit. Gina decides to leave the police station, realising that her talents would be better used elsewhere, like being an online celebrity.

While her colleagues were sad to see her go, they supported her choice and happily sent her on her way.

Chelsea Peretti still returns to the series as a guest star in the finale of the same year, marking her last appearance to date.

Although the initial version seems to be no longer available in both shops, allegedly for missing updates, older game versions are still available.
