Gravity Falls is an animated mystery comedy series created by Alex Hirsch. The show follows the adventures of two brothers who go to their grandfather's house for the summer in a town full of mystery.
Gravity Falls has received critical acclaim with praise for its writing, characters, animation, humour and multi-generational appeal.
What Is Gravity Falls About?
Dipper and Mabel Pines are two twin brothers who are sent to their great-uncle Stan's farm in the rural and mysterious woods of Gravity Falls, Oregon.
They think their holiday will be bland until they notice that there might be far more adventurous than expected.
When they're not snooping around Stan's trinket shop, The Mystery Shack, a tourist trap that charges unlucky visitors for a glimpse of a museum that is the world's most bizarre, they head into the forest to explore their new surroundings.
When Dipper discovers an old diary containing cryptic keys to the town's mysteries and its motley collection of residents, he and his sister set off to find out what lies behind the strange happenings.
They begin to realise that several secrets are thinly veiled in the town, full of paranormal incidents and supernatural creatures.

What Age Is Appropriate To Watch Gravity Falls?
Gravity Falls is a humorous cartoon series that older children and pre-teens will enjoy more than young children due to its rapid rhythm and content that often assumes a certain life experience on the part of those watching.
The generally scary feel of many scenes and the characters' encounters with monsters and supernatural beings in many forms may be too much for children who are sensitive to that kind of scare.
On the other hand, the complicated and flawed sibling dynamic between the two brothers always ends in a declaration of their affection for each other, with several demonstrations of the importance of family.
Although it is entirely the parents' responsibility what kind of content they allow their children to watch, we recommend this series for slightly more mature children, from eight years old.
