Line of Duty is a detective drama series that delves into the world of police corruption.

Created by Jed Mercurio, it has received widespread public and critical acclaim and is one of the best-performing series in its category.

What Is Line Of Duty About?

The series follows Detective Sergeant Steven, Steve Arnott (Martin Compston), a former licensed firearms officer who led an operation to catch an Islamic terrorist who intended to detonate a bomb.

Still, the strike team entered the wrong flat and shot and killed an unarmed innocent man. When he refuses to cover up the illegal shooting and begins to be harassed by his colleagues, he is transferred to Anti-Corruption Unit 12 (AC-12).

Here, Arnott partners with DC Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure), a highly praised undercover officer with a strong investigative instinct.

They work under the supervision of Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), uncovering corruption within the fictional Central Police Force.

AC-12 realises the pervasive nature of corruption and the police's deep-rooted ties to an organised crime group.

One of the long-running stories revolves around the discovery of the identity of “H”, a corrupt individual or high-ranking people within the police force who are essential in the execution of organised crime.
