Avatar 2 or Avatar: The Way of Water as it is officially known, was released worldwide in cinemas in December 2022.
In the time that has passed since then, it has grossed more than $2 BILLION at the box office and easily became one of the biggest movies of the year, despite also being one of the most expensive ever made.
So now that its theatre run has come to an end, it's time for it to hit the streaming platforms.
So where can you watch Avatar 2?
I have good and bad news, sadly Avatar: The Way of Water will not be appearing on Netflix anytime soon.
However, the good news is that the highly-anticipated sequel will be available to stream on Disney+ from June 7th 2023.
The long-awaited second instalment to the beloved fantasy film is finally happening, and all your favourite Pandora residents are returning.
If you're not already a Disney+ subscriber, now is the perfect time to sign up. In addition to Avatar 2, Disney+ has an impressive lineup of original content, including movies and shows like Will Trent, Abbott Elementary and Wakanda Forever.
So mark your calendars now if you want to watch Avatar 2 and see the Na'vi back in action!

Avatar: The Way of Water for Free?
I would not advise anyone to use illegal streams. Instead, you can sign up for Disney+ for a small initial fee and then cancel before you are charged for the month following.
This will give you access to Avatar: The Way of the Water and all the other great content that Disney+ has to offer.
Occasionally, Disney+ opens up its streaming service for free. This has happened a few times since the service launched, like when they allowed non-subscribers to watch FREE GUY (21 Sept 2021) so it's worth keeping an eye out for.
If a free day/weekend is announced, be sure to sign up and take advantage of it!
What is Avatar 2 About?
Avatar: The Way of Water is a monumental sci-fi film directed and produced by the acclaimed James Cameron.
Released by 20th Century Studios, the film serves as the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster Avatar and represents the second entry in the Avatar film series.
The film features a returning cast that includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, and Matt Gerald, all reprising their roles from the original film.
Sigourney Weaver also returns, taking on a new role, while the cast is further expanded with the addition of Kate Winslet.
The story continues the journey of Jake Sully (portrayed by Worthington), a member of the blue-skinned humanoid species known as the Na'vi.
As a renewed human threat emerges, Jake and his family seek sanctuary with the Metkayina clan, an aquatic tribe on Pandora, the habitable exomoon they call home.
Jake must now work with Neytiri and the army of the Na'vi race to protect their home.

More Disney+ Movies?
Disney Plus has an impressive lineup of original content, along with brilliant Disney movies, you'll also get access to the Pixar catalogue (Toy Story, The Incredibles, Cars and UP) along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Black Panther, Captain America, Thor etc…) and not forgetting all the Star Wars movies and series.
Subscribers outside the U.S. also benefit from content which is normally only seen on HULU. Recently the new Predator movie Prey dropped on Disney+ for non-US viewers. Arguably making the streaming service a better deal for those not in the States.
