How Many Episodes Of 1923?

1923 has eight episodes, each running at around an hour. The show is split into two places, the first in Montana where the Dutton family are facing off against a developer who wants their land.

The second storyline is set in Africa where Spencer Dutton is a famous wild animal hunter and hasn't returned home since the War.

There he meets his wife and through letters from Cara, discovers that the ranch is in peril and that he must home to save it.

1923 Season 2?

Unlike 1883 which was a limited series that introduced the Dutton family, 1923 will have a second season.

We were left with plenty of unresolved plotlines, one of which was whether Spencer would make it back to Montana.

It's not a surprise that he will return, if only because Yellowstone wouldn't exist if he didn't! But just how he saves the ranch will form the basis for the second season.
