Is Beetlejuice On Netflix?

Unfortunately, the movie Beetlejuice is not currently streaming on Netflix. We'll update this article if that changes.

In the meantime, you can find other great movies streaming on Netflix, such as The Addams Family, Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas (also directed by Tim Burton).

No matter where you are in the world, one thing is for sure – Beetlejuice is a movie that you can't miss!

What Happens If You Say Beetlejuice Three Times?

If you say Beetlejuice's name three times, he will appear. However, be careful what you wish for because Beetlejuice is not a nice ghost. He's mischievous and often gets the living in trouble.

In the movie, Beetlejuice appears when Adam (played by Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (played by Geena Davis) say his name three times.

The couple are ghosts who haunt their former home and they want Beetlejuice to help them scare away the new homeowners.

Beetlejuice 2?

It's been a long time coming, but could Beetlejuice 2 finally be happening? With all the fake promotional posters circulating on social media, it certainly feels like we're getting closer than ever.

In September 2019, it was reported that Beetlejuice 2 was in development at Warner Bros. and that Tim Burton would return to direct.

However, in a recent interview with Variety, Beetlejuice actor Michael Keaton (Dopesick) said that he doesn't think a sequel is a good idea.

“It's possible that ship has sailed”. At the time, he said that…. “The only way to do it is to do it right. So much of it was improvised, and so much was beautifully handmade by the artist that is Tim Burton. If you can't get close to that, you leave it alone.”

But he's clearly had a change of heart and we can confirm that BEETLEJUICE 2 is happening!!! And yes, Michael Keaton is back on board.

Tim Burton will helm the production and this is what we know so far.

Beetlejuice has a wife (Monica Bellucci) and Delia (Catherine O'Hara) and Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) will be showing up for the family who originally bought the house. They will be joined by Lydia's daughter (Jenna Ortega, Wednesday).

The plot is under wraps but we do know that Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled for a cinema release on September 6, 2024, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

More Beetlejuice?

With a sequel to Beetlejuice in the works, fans of the movie can enjoy other content set in the same universe.

For example, the cartoon series Beetlejuice aired from 1989 to 1991 and followed Beetlejuice's adventures in the Neitherworld.

There's also a stage musical adaptation of Beetlejuice, which premiered on Broadway in 2019. The musical features a score by Eddie Perfect and a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King.
