Haunted Mansion was released in cinemas on July 28th 2023. But like most films, no sooner have they premiered and then it's on to a streaming service!
So if you loved it or, more importantly your kids loved it, then you're probably wondering where you can watch it now!
I have good and bad news, sadly Haunted Mansion will not be appearing on Netflix anytime soon.
However, the good news is that the family comedy drama will be available to stream on Disney+.
So if you can't wait to watch LaKeith Stanfield and Rosario Dawson battle the ghosts from the comfort of your home, you're in luck.
As of October 4th 2023, you can watch Haunted Mansion on Disney+. Just in time for Halloween!

I would not advise anyone to use illegal streams. Instead, you can sign up for Disney+ for a small initial fee and then cancel before you are charged for the month following.
This will give you access to Haunted Mansion and all the other great content that Disney+ has to offer.

What Is Haunted Mansion About?
In the 2023 Disney film Haunted Mansion, directed by Justin Simien and featuring an ensemble cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, and Owen Wilson, the supernatural collides with everyday life in a horrifying yet comedic way.
The story follows Gabbie (Rosario Dawson), a widowed doctor, and her son Travis (Chase W. Dillon) as they move into the haunted Gracey Manor with the intent of transforming it into a bed and breakfast.
At the same time, astrophysicist Ben Matthias (Stanfield), whose wife Alyssa (a ghost tour guide) has died, is approached by Father Kent to photograph the ghosts of the Manor.
Initially skeptical, Ben is forced into action by a haunting experience and discovers that Gabbie and Travis are also victims of the mansion’s restless spirits.
Uniting with Father Kent, Ben recruits Harriet, a genuine psychic, and steals the mansion's blueprints from a haunted house historian, Prof. Bruce Davis (Danny DeVito).
Now the race is on to stop the ghosts from taking over the mansion so that Gabbie and Travis can finally live in peace.

Box Office Reception
Despite the usual marketing fanfare that accompanies a brand new Disney movie, Haunted Mansion had a very slow start at the cinema.
And it didn't get much better. It may have been the time of year or simply that Barbie and Oppenheimer dominated the Summer of 2023, but Haunted Mansion never really got any traction.
As a result, despite the $150 million budget, it only made $106 million worldwide. Basically it was a flop.
I've seen it and agree that it really didn't know what kind of film it was. It tried to be a little bit scary, a little bit funny and a little bit emotional but didn't really do any of them particularly well.
To be fair, the cast is great and there is an actual story line but for a movie called Haunted Mansion, there really wasn't a lot of scary haunting going on.
That said, it was still an enjoyable trip to the cinema and worth a watch for family movie night.
