Where To Watch Sing 2 – Is It On Netflix or Disney?

When Sing became a megahit in 2016, it was always on the cards that a sequel, Sing 2 would be made. It may have taken five years, but it was worth the wait.

With all of the old favourites reprising their roles, a new story and a whole bunch of new songs to tap your feet to, Sing 2 had fans flocking to the cinema.

Garth Jennings returned as the writer and director with Christophe Lourdelet as co-director. The story picks up after the events of the previous film, with the group trying to enlist a reclusive rock star to perform with them.


With a budget of $85 million, Sing 2 grossed over $409 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing animated film of 2021.

Whether you've seen the movie already or you want to watch Sing 2 for the first time, here is where it is streaming…

Where To Stream Sing 2

It doesn't matter which country you live in, Sing 2 is available on a number of streaming platforms.

United States: There are is one streaming option to watch Sing 2 in the US. And that is Netflix.

Rental options are available so if you do not subscribe to Netflix, you can rent the film on Apple TV+, Amazon, Vudu, Redbox, Flix Fling or Google Play.

United Kingdom: If you live in the UK you only have one option to watch Sing 2. That is on Sky Cinema. You can also access Sky Cinema through the NOW TV app and watch it there.

Sing 2 is unavailable to rent in the UK. Buying options are available on Amazon, Apple TV+, Sky Store and Chili.

Canada: Canadians have one option for Sing 2 which is only available to stream on Crave.

If you don't subscribe to it, you can rent it on Cineplex, Apple TV+ and Amazon.

Australia: A few streaming options for Australians who want to watch Sing 2. Amazon Prime Video, BINGE and Foxtel Now include it in their subscriptions.

Israel: Sing 2 is available only on OSN in Israel.

Turkey: Sing 2 is not available for free on any streaming platform. The only option is to rent it on either Apple TV+ or Google Play.

Spain: In Spain you can watch ¡Canta! 2 on MoviStar only. The cheapest place to rent it is on Amazon.

Sweden: If you're in Sweden and have Sky Showtime then you can watch Sing 2 as part of your account. Otherwise, you can rent it on ViaPlay or Blockbuster.

When Does Sing 2 Come Out On Disney?

Sing 2 is not actually a Disney movie. It was produced by Illumination (Despicable Me), and distributed by Universal Pictures, so there is no connection between the companies.

In fact, Universal Studios signed a deal with Peacock in the United States, and it began with all of its films released in 2022.

So now those of you who subscribe to Peacock can watch the movies from as little as 45 days after they leave the cinema. That is instead of the traditional eight to nine-month wait.

Outside of the US, Universal signed a streaming deal with Amazon Prime Video. That allows Amazon to stream the content beginning four months after the films debut on Peacock.
