Uncharted (2022) is an action-adventure film directed by Ruben Fleischer. The screenplay by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway is based on the video game franchise of the same name.
Filming began in March 2020 but was halted by the pandemic before resuming in July. Uncharted faced major delays but was eventually released in the United States by Sony Pictures in February 2022.
Made on a budget of $120M, it grossed $401.7 million worldwide, making it the fifth-highest-grossing video game film of all time.

What Is Uncharted About?
Orphaned brothers Sam and Nate Drake (Tom Holland) are caught trying to steal a map made after the Magellan expedition from a Boston museum.
Fifteen years later, Nate is recruited by Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg), a fortune hunter who worked with Sam tracking treasure hidden.
He explains to Nate that Sam vanished after helping him steal Juan Sebastian Elcano's diary, and Nate agrees to help Sully find him.
Now they're on a mission to find Sam and recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada.
But what starts as a heist job turns into a desperate race to reach the treasure before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas).
If they can solve the clues to one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure…but only if they can work together.

Where Was Uncharted Filmed?
Uncharted is about two globe-trotting treasure hunters so a lot of different locations were used for filming the movie.
Filming began in Germany in 2020 at Studio Babelsberg. By the beginning of October 2020, production moved to Alicante and Valencia in Spain, including the coastal town of Xàbia.
Production concluded in Barcelona with reshoots taking place in July 2021 in Madrid, Spain.
