This is one of the most bingeable series on Netflix. Once you start it's almost impossible to stop. This series is not one that's easy to categorize. Is it a dark comedy? a love story or a road movie? Who knows? one thing is for sure - End Of The F***King World is bloody brilliant.

The series starts with an introduction to James (Alex Lawther), a 17-year-old boy who thinks he might be a psychopath, judging by his predilection for torturing small animals, it's hard to disagree with his self-analysis.

James goes on to explain “When I was nine, Dad bought a deep fat fryer. He saw it on an American shopping channel. One day, I put my hand in it. I wanted to make myself feel something.” James, as you might have already guessed, is a deeply troubled teen.

James has one simple ambition, to kill someone, anyone. When new girl Alyssa (Jessica Barden) walks into James school, the psychopathic teen thinks he has found his first victim. Our star-crossed teens embark on a road trip, which James hopes will give him the opportunity to murder Alyssa.

Over the next 8 episodes (each approx 20 minutes long) we discover that both James and Alyssa have good reason to rebel against the world. Sympathies shift and you start rooting for these two likable lunatics. Unmissable series from Netflix and thankfully one that has more seasons!

But if you manage to binge all of them then you could also check out I Am Not Okay With This. Similar in style and dry wit.
