If you love the idea of a beautifully tidy and organised home then check out Get Organized with The Home Edit as these ladies whip houses across America into shape.

Ever wished you lived in a neat and tidy house? Imagine everything being placed beautifully and in an orderly and defined space. Now imagine somebody coming into your home and working that kind of magic. That's what you have with Get Organized with The Home Edit.

The Home Edit in question is a company founded by Clea and Joanna in Nashville. They are professional organizers and their job is to come into your home and organise it to within an inch of its life. And they are really good at it.

So much so that Reese Witherspoon is not only a devoted customer, she is also behind the production company that created the show for Netflix.

So what can you expect from Get Organized with The Home Edit? Firstly Clea and Joanna have grown their company almost exclusively via social media.

They are funny and charming and work incredibly well together. They just ooze a natural vibe that makes the show feel very organic and unforced. There is also plenty going on behind the scenes so you get to see how they deal with issues when they crop up.

Secondly, each episode in the series showcases two makeovers. The first is for an A-List celeb so expect to see Eva Longoria (Overboard), Reese Witherspoon, Neil Patrick Harris, Khloe Kardashian etc…

The second is an everyday clients edit for normal members of the public who have reached out to the ladies for help.

For me, these were the better jobs, because as mildly interesting as the celebs are, they really never had much to actually organise. Except for Rachel Zoe's closet which really was in serious need of some TLC.

Whereas the ordinary folk had some serious problems and The Home Edit did some fantastic work whipping kitchens, offices and playrooms into shape.

So you definitely get to see more dramatic transformations like a bedroom overhaul, a converted office make-over, creating a multipurpose garage or even re-organizing a youth center that runs the neighborhood after school program.

Because they all have different issues, you get to see a broader range of storage ideas and clever ways to divide shared spaces by creating organized zones that are helpful for viewers at home.

Is Get Organized with The Home Edit Worth Watching?

Get Organized with The Home Edit will definitely have an audience. This kind of show is right up my street as I love transformations and new ideas – a bit like Tidying Up With Marie Condo.

The two shows are quite similar in terms of what they are trying to achieve. However, the personalities differ greatly as The Home Edit ladies are far chattier and livelier.

Overall Get Organized with The Home Edit is very enjoyable to watch. Then again I really am the target audience. It's light-hearted, gives some great ideas, and is a fun way to pass the time.
