We all know that tv shows and movies have to keep innovating or at least die trying. From CGI to interactivity, the business is always looking for new ways to bring stories to life. And Kaleidoscope on Netflix is no different.
What Is Kaleidoscope About?
Kaleidoscope is an anthology series that spans 25 years, starting before a heist all the way up to six months after it.
The series follows a crew of thieves and their attempt to crack a seemingly unbreakable vault for the biggest payday in history.
The problem is that safe is guarded by the world’s most powerful corporate security team. Plus, with law enforcement on the case, every episode reveals a piece of an elaborate puzzle.
With greed, scheming, corruption, vengeance, loyalties and betrayals, how did the crew of thieves plan it? Who can be trusted and who gets away with it?

Is Kaleidoscope Worth Watching?
Before we get to the answer of whether it's worth watching, let's get a bit of background info on the show.
Written by Eric Garcia, episodes in the first season were directed by Mairzee Almas, Everardo Gout and José Padilha. The eight episode series was made in conjunction with Scott Free productions.
The heist series is loosely inspired by the real-life story where seventy billion dollars in bonds went missing in Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
But what makes Kaleidoscope a must-watch is the fact that the episodes can be watched in any random order. In fact, Netflix audiences will have a completely different viewing experience as episodes will be in different orders.
Each episode has been given a different colour as a title and covers a specific period before or after the heist. So depending on which order you watch them in, you will have a different perspective on who did what until the epic “White: The Heist” story finale.
So to get back to the ‘Is It Worth Watching?” question, for a purely new unique way of watching a crime drama series unfold, yes Kaleidoscope is a thumbs up.
