Starring Lili Reinhart of Riverdale fame, Look Both Ways is a movie that examines that old age question…what if?
What if one single decision you made changed your life forever? And you didn't even know.
On the eve of her college graduation, Natalie’s life diverges into parallel realities.
She decides to sleep with her best friend Gabe (Danny Ramirez) and after, as she takes a pregnancy test Natalie's life splits into two.
So in one reality she becomes pregnant and remains in her Texas hometown close to her mother (Andrea Savage) and her father (Luke Wilson).
In the other, she does not get pregnant and moves to Los Angeles. There she gets a great job and finds potential love with Jake (David Corenswet).
We follow her in both journeys as she experiences life-changing love, pursues her dream career as an artist, and rediscovers herself.

Is Look Both Ways Worth Watching?
Parallel realities is a film concept we've seen before. Anyone remember the 1998 Gwyneth Paltrow movie Sliding Doors?
In it she plays a young woman, Helen Quilley, who gets fired from her PR job and as rushes for her train the doors close and she misses it.
But the film then rewinds, and the scene is replayed, except that now she manages to board the train.
The film continues, alternating between the two storylines in which different events ensue.
Fast forward 24 years and we have Look Both Ways. One instant can change your life but just how much is something none of us will ever know.
So from that perspective, Look Both Ways is a solid what-if movie.
And of course, as always Lili Reinhart is incredibly watchable. That said, it doesn't really offer anything new to the genre.
But it is sweet and watchable if you just want to chill out and let a nice film wash over you.
