This brutally honest documentary gives a revealing view of the personal pressures experienced by one of the greatest football players ever to pull on a Liverpool jersey. Steven Gerrard is a Legend at Liverpool FC but the pursuit of winning the title became a huge personal burden.

Make Us Dream follows the monumental career of Steven Gerrard. Gerrard, who captained both Liverpool FC and England, is widely accepted to be one of the best players of his generation. Gerrard joined the Liverpool academy at the age of nine and stayed at the club for an astonishing twenty-six years. It displayed a level of loyalty to the club, and the fans, that few players have ever shown.

This feature-length documentary is directed by Sam Blair. He does a tremendous job pulling together historical footage with interviews from family members, players, agents and sports commentators. The open and brutally honest interviews with Gerrard himself provide a revealing view of the pressures that he experienced. And, of course, the huge disappointment he carries from not winning the Premiership Title.

No longer a player, this documentary gives Gerrard a lot of freedom to talk about his professional career. He gives an honest account of how angered he was when other players left the club for big money. As well as the challenging relationship that he had with the manager Rafael Benitez.

LFC fans will love this film. But more than that, even if you are not a Liverpool fan, it is difficult to deny Gerrard's contribution to club and country. He made an incredible 504 appearances for Liverpool and earned 114 caps for the England team. He scored well over 200 goals for club and country and is still one of the biggest names in the game.

All in all, Make Us Dream is a must watch for any Liverpool fan but is also a great watch for anyone who is passionate about football.
