Once upon a time, in the seemingly idyllic town of Rosewood, a group of five high school friends had it all.

Alison DiLaurentis, the leader of the pack, was charismatic, beautiful, and held the secrets of each girl close to her heart. However, their lives took a dark turn when Alison mysteriously disappeared during a sleepover.

A year later, the remaining friends, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields, are still grappling with Alison's absence and the secrets she held.

However, they soon discover they are not the only ones with secrets in Rosewood. A dark underbelly of deceit, blackmail, and scandal runs deep within the town.

Despite it all, the girls form unlikely alliances, experience heartbreak, and grow stronger together. They never give up on finding out the truth about Alison's disappearance and the identity of “A.”
