This November Terminator will ‘be back', with the sixth instalment in the franchise “Terminator: Dark Fate”.
James Cameron is back producing his first film since Avatar in 2009. Cameron produced the first two Terminator films as well as Titanic. He is joined by Tim Miller who is the director of the new film, who previously created Deadpool.
Dark Fate welcomes back Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton taking on the roles of The Terminator and Sarah Connor as they have in the other films. This will be the first time we will see Linda Hamilton in a Terminator film since Judgement Day.
The first new character we meet in the trailer is Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes). She is the target of a new Terminator who is out to kill her. She is being driven away by Grace (Mackenzie Davies), who is a human-machine hybrid, sent from the future to protect Grace.
As they are driving away they are being chased by Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna). He has been sent back in time to terminate Dani. Grace tries to stop him but by doing so learns he is a new and advanced Terminator. One that can separate into two Terminator units.
Sarah Connor comes to the rescue and gets rid of what she thinks is the Terminator after Dani, not knowing there is two of them. As the trailer progresses we see that Rev-9 is determined to kill Dani, for reasons that are, as of yet, unknown. They employ the help of Arnold Schwarzeneggers Terminator and between the three of them, they bid to keep Dani alive.
The trailer ends with scenes of police cars crashing and planes falling out of the sky.
This looks like it's going to be a high action film that will fit perfectly into The Terminator Franchise.
